In so far as my knowledge and information goes on the matter, the Ministry of Railways is yet to issue ORDERS on this subject of GRANTING OF ONE INCREMENT/FIXATION OF PAY ON PROMOTION TO POST CARRYING HIGHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT CARRYING THE SAME GRADE PAY; THIS GRADE PAY COMES FOR MACP BENEFICIRIES AND HOW ABOUT ACP RECEPIENTS OF PRE-2006 PROMOTES WHO WERE GRANTED ACP HIGHER PAY SCALE FIXATION AND THEN THEY GOT PROMOTION TO HIGHER RANK,HIGHER RESPONSIBILITY, STATUS AND CHANGE OF GROUP--I.E. FROM GROUP'C' TO GROUP'B' OR FROM LOWER CLASS/GROUP TO HIGHER GROUP 'A', ETC. KINDLY CLARIFY
Promotions is no more meaning after the evil powers grasp of the MACP. Promo-tees who were struggling to get it were disappointed by the MACP. Promo-tees are ashamed to say they have been promoted without benefits thanks to MACP

Promo-tees generally have lesser service, feeling insecure and tired due to MACP

DeleteMy office had granted one increment even after the MACP grant to apromotee in the same grade pay but higher post in higher pay-band. The same was ordered to be recovered by audit party.We pleaded the case to P&PF Branch and got the approval against the audit order.Increment retained.
